We are looking for a IT Service Desk Technician to join our fast-growing team!

Rovco is leading the way in ROV and Hydrographic Services, supported by Vaarst's unique artificial intelligence based technology. We are now looking for an IT Service Desk Technician to be the first port of call in our IT department. 

You will provide support to approximately 60 colleagues/users (and growing!) from across the business. Support would be predominantly via phone, remote or dial in access but also some onsite support, when working from the Bristol office .

The role covers the end-to-end process from call logging, through to troubleshooting; facilitating solutions, asset management & final resolution of issues as well as involvement in future project work too. 

While the role is predominantly support orientated, there is a lot of scope to grow within the business.

The IT Service Desk Technician will also need strong communication skills as they will be liaising with stakeholders & colleagues of all levels from across the whole business, providing a high quality level of support and, sharing their ideas & suggestions to add value to the IT Service Desk team.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • MS365 Administration (Office\Exchange\Teams\SharePoint)
  • First\Second Line support over Chat\Phone\Email.
  • Resolving support tickets and escalating where necessary.
  • Creating Manuals and Help articles for the Help Portal.
  • Network & VPN management & troubleshooting.

Any exposure to the following is advantageous but not required.

  • Intune
  • Ubiquiti
  • Debian-based Linux
